Hello Everybody!
I know that I've written already, and we haven't even left yet, but I thought that I would update again before we leave and let you know what we're doing, since I didn't inform you in the last blog. To be honest, we didn't completely know what we'd be doing either, we only had a vague idea.
Our main purposes are:
-To meet up with our Calvary supported missionaries, spend time with them and get to know them.
-Be exposed to Asian culture
-Develop a spiritual side and burdens as individuals
-Be used as a stepping stone for Asia missions
We are going to be the guinea pigs for this trip, and what I mean by that is, Calvary has never sent a GO Team to Asia before. While we are not building any material things, we will be building relationships with the people of Singapore and Malaysia, with the hope that Calvary may send more GO Teams out to Asia in the future.
While we are there, we will also be spending time with the Bible College students. We'll get to know what their college experience is like, and they can find out what ours is like, since they may be completely different.
Also, please be praying for Akalina and her family. Akalina was planning on going to Singapore, however, her citizenship is still pending, which kept her from getting a U.S. passport in time. We as a team are very sad that she will not be joining us, but it is all God's timing because her Dad is having some very serious health issues. Please be praying for her dad for healing and recovery. They are very strong family and very much at peace about the situation, but keep them in your prayers!
Please continue to pray for us as we get ready to depart-on THURSDAY!!!!
This time, I promise the next blog will be from Singapore!

8 More Days!!
Hello Everyone!
Welcome to the Singapore GO Team Blog! We'll be using this while we are gone to update you on what we are upto. We are unsure if we'll be able to blog every day, and who knows, we might be able to only blog once or twice.
As you saw in the title, it's only 8 more days until we leave! WOW! We are so excited about the trip, and I know that for many of us, it will be full of new experiences. It will be so amazing to see what the Lord does and how He will use us during our time in Singapore, and it won't even stop there! God can use us in so many unexpected ways, and who knows, we'll be flying for about 18 hours each way and He may even use us then. Please be praying for us as we prepare our hearts to serve and minister to the people in Singapore, and please be praying for us just as we prepare over this last week.
Pray for our team members-Akalina, Alex, Amanda, Brett, Caitlyn, Carissa, Chris, Daniel, Gigi, and Joey, prior to and during the trip, as well as for safe travels to and from. As I said, the flights are pretty long, you might pray for sleep and sanity as well ;)
Hope you are able to keep up with us and check in on our adventures! Stay tuned, because the next blog may just come from half-way across the world.
Enjoy!
